Keith Ross is a dedicated Case Manager at National Vet Help, where he brings a strong background in veteran advocacy, case management, and military leadership to assist veterans in securing the VA disability benefits they have rightfully earned. With firsthand military experience and a deep understanding of the challenges veterans face, Keith is committed to guiding former service members through the complexities of the VA claims process.


A United States Army veteran, Keith served as a Combat Engineer from 2002 to 2010, completing two tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom. As a team leader, he was responsible for leading and mentoring soldiers in high-pressure environments, maintaining combat readiness, and ensuring the welfare of his team. His dedication and leadership earned him several military commendations, reinforcing his commitment to service.


Keith’s civilian career reflects his passion for supporting veterans and underserved communities. Most recently, he served as a Veteran Outreach Program Specialist at the South Bend Vet Center, where he founded and led a comprehensive outreach program, exceeding veteran contact goals by 300% over four years. He also spearheaded numerous community initiatives, including veteran resource fairs, family events, and support groups aimed at fostering veteran well-being. His leadership extended to serving as President of the Veteran Resource Network Board and Chair of the Stand Down Committee, collaborating with organizations to provide critical resources to veterans in need.

Keith’s expertise in case management was further developed during his time as an Adult Probation Officer, where he managed high-risk caseloads, linked individuals to vital resources, and played a key role in Veterans’ Court, ensuring former service members received the support and rehabilitation they needed. His attention to detail, critical thinking, and organizational skills make him an invaluable advocate for veterans navigating the VA disability claims process.


Keith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science from Purdue North Central University, with a minor in History, and is a member of Psi Chi, the International Psychology Honor Society. His personal experience as a veteran, combined with his extensive background in advocacy, leadership, and case management, makes him an essential part of the National Vet Help team.
